Council Member Brian Donahue was born in Mt. Vernon, New York. He has lived in Stanton since 1977. He is married to Hedy and they have four children and ten grandchildren.
 

Brian Donahue has been retired since 1999. He worked as a public school vocational education administrator. He went to high school in St. Petersburg Florida. He went to Pasadena City College before going on to San Diego State to get his B.A. in Education. He then went to Cal Lutheran to get his Masters Degree in Education and Counseling.
 

Brain Donahue's hobbies include, hunting, fishing and competitive shooting.

Brian Donahue was first elected in 1994. He was Mayor Pro Tem in 1995, 2000, 2005 and Mayor in 2001.
