Back to School Backpack Program
The Foundation’s Back to School Backpack Program is almost complete. Over the course of the program, supplies have been received from both Stanton Pick Your Part branches, the American Legion, OC Community Nursing Services, all City Departments, the Lions and Kiwanis Clubs, Ewles Materials, Classic Cake Decorations, Ron’s Discount Tires, Office Depot, and OC Animal Care. The backpacks have been assembled and will be distributed to eligible Stanton students soon.
The Foundation would like to thank each of the businesses and City departments mentioned above and each of the individuals who donated directly at City Hall for their generous contributions toward making the program a tremendous success by. Each donation allowed the foundation to provide school supplies and backpacks to Stanton students who would not otherwise have been able to afford them. It is the Foundation’s hope that
this aid will allow the students to be more successful in their studies this year.
