VOTER REGISTRATION
To be eligible to vote in an election, you must register at least 15 days prior to the election date. Once you have registered, your voter registration will remain active, regardless of whether or not you voted in the last election.
Qualifications:
- You must be a U.S. citizen at the time you register.
- You must be at least 18 years of age before the date of the next election.
- You may not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction.
You Must Reregister if You:
- Move
- Change Your Name
- Change Your Political Party Affiliation
The City Clerk's office would be happy to mail you a Voter Registration Form; contact us at (714) 379-9222 ext. 240, or you may register on-line at www.ocvote.com. Voter registrations are maintained and filed with the County Registrar. You may mail your completed form directly to the County Registrar or submit it to the City Clerk's office.

Para votar en una elección, Ud. debe registrase para votar por lo menos 15 días antes del día de la elección. En cuanto se registre, su registro de votante permanecerá activo, así haya usted votado en la ultima elección o no.
Requisitos:
- Ser ciudadano de los Estados Unidos (Usted debe ser ciudadano estadounidense en
el momento de registrarse para votar).
- Tener 18 años de edad en o antes de la próxima elección.
- No estar en prisión o libertad bajo palabra por una condena de delito grave.
Ya registrado, Ud. debe volver a registrarse cada vez que haga lo siguiente:
- Cambio de Domicilio
- Cambio de Nombre
- Si desea cambiar su afiliación de Partido Político
Con gusto la oficina del la Secretaría Municipal (City Clerk's Office) la enviará una forma de registro; llamando al (714) 379-9222 ext. 240, ó se puede registrar por medio del internet visitando al www.ocvote.com. Los registros de votantes están archivados por condado. Asegúrese de registrarse cada vez que se mude de condado. Usted puede enviar su forma completa a la oficina el Registro de Votantes del condado de Orange, ó a la oficina de la Secretaría Municipal.
