COVID-19 UPDATE

Effective Monday, March 16, as a precautionary measure to reduce the chance of community spread of COVID-19, the City of Stanton is implementing temporary changes to City operations. These changes will be in place through the end of the month or until further notice.

The temporary changes to City operations are as follows: 

•    All city facilities will be closed to the public. This includes City Hall, the Community Center, the Corporate Yard, the Family Resource Center, Stanton Central Park and Dotson Park. 
•    City operations will continue with staff available to provide services and answer questions by phone or email. In person visits will be considered on a case-by-case basis by appointment only. 
•    All recreation classes and programs scheduled for the remainder of March have been cancelled.
•    All private events scheduled for indoor and outdoor City facilities have been cancelled.   
•    The Monday, March 16, 2020, Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission meeting is cancelled. All other City Council and City Commission meetings will take place as planned. The public is encouraged to participate via teleconferencing, details to follow.
