The City of Stanton is pleased to announce our updated Small Business Relief Program (SBR) to support local businesses impacted by the COVID-19 public health orders. The hunt is on! We are excited to be hopping into the Spring season with 3 fun-filled Easter events! Starting March 10 we are launching our City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt! We want your input! The City of Stanton and KTGY Architecture + Planning invite you to participate in the second round of outreach for the Town Center Specific Plan. Your input and insight are valuable and will help evaluate potential alternatives for our Town Center. 

The City of Stanton is proud to announce the CDBG-CV funded Small Business Assistance Program. Grants for the payment of commercial rent and/or commercial utilities (gas, electric, and water) are available to qualified Stanton businesses experiencing financial hardship as a direct result of COVID-19.

At a special meeting held on Monday, Dec. 21, the Stanton City Council voted unanimously to direct the City Attorney’s office to file or join an amicus brief in support of Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes’ challenge to a court order regarding the release of inmates.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Surplus Land Act (California Government Code Section 54220 et seq.) (the “Act”), the City of Stanton (“City”) hereby notifies those entities designated in Section 54222 of the Act of the availability for lease or purchase of the City- and Housing Authority-owned land identified in Exhibit 1 attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference (the “Development Site”), for the purposes authorized in the Act, which land the City has declared surplus by Resolution No. 2020-04, dated October 27, 2020, and prior to the disposition of the Development Site by the City, consistent with the Act and the City’s policies or procedures.

County of Orange will make available $1,000 grants to 1,000 restaurants to purchase tents/canopies, lighting, and heaters/warmers to assist with outdoor dining. Grants will be available to those that qualify on a first-come, first-served basis.
