Accepting Applications for OC Emergency Rental Assistance Program News and Announcements Apr 05 2021 The County of Orange was allocated $65,576,556 from the U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) for the implementation of the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program. The ERA Program provides funding to assist households that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ERA Program must largely be used for direct financial assistance, including rent, rental arrears and utilities and home energy costs. The ERA Program will provide a maximum financial assistance of $10,000 per eligible household to pay for rental arrears and past due utilities.
